Welcome to the DANSTOCK Benefit Showcase

Announcing our third year!

Back in 2012, musician Dan Stock was battling melanoma while continuing to make an impact on the local music scene at Uptown Recording. While receiving treatment from Dr. Timothy Kuzel at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, he had a vision: Use his art form to gather like-minded people who want to help find a cure for a disease that affects so many people.

Simply put, Dan wanted to unite kick ass local bands with new audiences, have a rockin' evening full of laughter and ruckus, and raise enough money to help Dr. Kuzel continue his research to find a cure.

In the inaugural year we were able to make a $35,000 donation to Dr. Timothy Kuzel's melanoma cancer research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. In 2014, we donated another $15,000 and were invited into the Nathan Smith Davis Recognition Program-Northwestern University Leadership Circle.

Although we lost Dan Stock in 2013, we continue to keep his vision alive. Please come join us for our third year on February 5, 2015.
