FAQ

I am a local Chicago band and would like to perform. Who do I contact?
We are currently fielding performers to fill the four openings. Some criteria needed to be eligible for consideration are: you must originate from Chicago, must be willing to play for free (this is a fundraiser after all), must be able to generate your own crowd to the event, and be willing to actively publicize the event to your fan base. If you fulfill these obligations and would like to be considered, please use the "Contact Us" form to the right.

Is this a 21+ event?
Yes. Although we made exceptions in the past, this event is limited to those 21 years of age and older.

What kind of items are you looking to have donated?
We are open to a variety of items to raffle or auction. Please send us your idea and we will let you know if it can be included. We do reserve the right to exclude items. All items donated will not be returned.

I have an item to donate to the raffle and/or silent auction. Who do I contact?
First, thank you. Second, please use the "Contact Us" form to the right. In your message include a description of the item you would like donate and the best way to contact you.

I'd like to volunteer. What could I do?
We'd love to have you join the crew. Please use the "Contact Us" form to the right and note how you would like to help. Positions needed are promotions, set up, on-site cashier, raffle ticket sales, and clean up.

Do I have to be present to win a raffle or silent auction item?
We will not be collecting contact information for the raffle, so you must be present to win. Winners will be drawn before the last band takes the stage. Items must be collected before the event ends. The silent auction winners will be announced at the end of the event. Payment and pick up may be done at that time. If you are a winner and not present, we will contact you to arrange payment and pick up.

I can't make it to the event. Can I make a donation?
Thank you for your willingness to donate to this wonderful cause. Please use the "Donate to the Cure" link on the home page. It will take you to the Lurie Cancer Center donations page.

Who should I contact for more information, such as a press release, interviews, etc.?
There is a "Press Release" link on the home page. If you require additional information, please use the "Contact Us" form.
